Trainor Associates Staff Earn CPMR and CSP Certification

The Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative (CPMR) degree is awarded to manufacturers representatives who attend a one week intensive training course for three years. Topics include customer satisfaction, agency ownership, tax planning, selling strategies, vendor management and many other industry related issues. The CPMR course is the foundation for manufacturers representatives to strengthen and grow their agency for the next generation. The Certified Sales Professional (CSP) is awarded to those individuals pursuing training and education in the profession of selling. Skill sets strictly geared to the art of selling are drilled into all candidates prior to certification. Both CPMR and CSP are administered by The Manufacturers' Representatives Educational Research Foundation (MRERF).

In an effort to always stay up to date and ahead of competition, Trainor Associates has both CPMR and CSP graduates on staff. Ian Jones finished his CPMR in 2007 and Chris Gauche received his CSP certification in 2005. Bill Trainor states, “you’re never too old to learn something new and keeping up with industry changes is always a good thing to do.”
